    Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hoschar, 5338 Sandusky, Co. Rd. 13, Kansas, Ohio, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house, June 7 1-5 p .m., at the community Center, Salem St., Risingsun, Ohio.

    They were married June 6, 1931, in the Baptist Church by the Rev,. Brown McDonald, Point Pleasant, WV, moving to Fostoria, OH in 1936.
    Mrs. Hoschar is the former Anna M. Pullins, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Pullins.

    Mr. Hoschar is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Hoschar.

    They are the parents of four children Orman, Elroy, Mrs. Denver (Ora L yn n) House, and Mrs. Charles (Evidine) Copsey.

    They also have 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

    Mr. and Mrs, Hoschar are both former employees of Fostoria Screw Works. M r. Hoschar is a retired general contractor, Mrs. Hoschar retired from the Ford Motor Co.

    Mr. Hoschar is the first of his family to celebrate a golden anniversary. Mrs Hoschar is the fifth of her family and four of the five are stilll living.
    Family and friends are invited to attend the open house, Gifts omitt ed at their request.



    Milton Hoschar 86, of Kansas, Ohio,died August 25, 1992 at his residence. He was born in Cottageville, a son of the late Phillip E. and Pricilla Frances Fultz Hoschar. He owned and operated Hoschar construction Company In Fostoria, Ohio from 1937 to 1974.
    Surviving:his wife Anna Mae Pullins Hoschar; one son Elroy Hoschar of st Fostoria; two daughters, Ora Lynn Hummel of Northwood, OH and Evidine Copsey of Longview, TX: two brothers, Johnny Hoschar of SouthSide, WV and Earlie Hoschar of Cottageville: two Sisters Elizabeth Stover of Racine, OH and Altie Full of Parkersburg; 14 Grandchildren; and 19 great-grand children .
    He was preceded in death by one son, Orman Hoschar; four brothers; and three sisters.
    Service will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, August 30, 1992 at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with Rev. A. Richard Conrad officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens near Areadia, OH.
    Memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.

    Anna Mae Hoschar, 85, of Sandusky County Road 13, Kansas, Ohio, died We d. at her home.
    Mrs. Hoschar had retired from Ford Motor Co. in Sandusky with 29 yea rs of service.
    She was born in Cottageville, a daughter of the late Allen Thomas and R achel Smith Pullins.
    She is survived by the son, Elroy Hoschar of Fostoria; two daughter s, O ra Lynn Hummel of Northwood, Ohio and Evidine Copsey of Longview, Tex as; t hree sister, Osa Jacobs of Flat Rock, Ohio, Audrey Wilson of Evan s, and Mary Grimm of Point Pleasant, 14 grandchildren 21 great-grandchildr en; and a great-great grandchild.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Hoschar, in 1992 a s on Orman Hoschar; five brothers, Elmer Pullins, Emmitt Pullins, Wyvil Pull ins , Roy Pullins and Asa Pullins and two sisters, Merial Pullins and C or da Sayre.
    Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at Harrold-Floriana Funeral H ome, 301 W. Tiffin St. Fostoria, with Rev. Richard Conrod officiating. Bur ial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery, near Areadia, Ohio.
    Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday

    Hoschar Rites Held At Creston
    Aged Cottageville Citizen Died At Home There On Tuesday

    Funeral services for Phillip Edward Hoschar, 71 of Cottageville, we re he ld Friday at the Creston Church with Rev. Cunningham of the Cottagev ille M ethodist church in charge and burial was in the church cemetery. T he Va il undertakers had charge of the funeral and burial arrangements.

    Mr. Hoschar died at his home on Tuesday evening. He had been in faili ng he alth for some time, relatives said.

    He was a native of Cottageville where he was born August 22, 187 5. He w as a son of the late Andrew J. and Elizabeth Brannon Hoschar and w as a mem ber of the Long Bottom Methodist Church.
    Surviving are his widow the former Frances Fultz; two daughters Eliza be th Stover, of Racine, OH, Altie Full of Parkersburg and six sons Mi lt on of Fostoria, OH; Vinton of Cottageville, John of Point Pleasant, Del be rt of Evans, Roy of Cottageville, and Earlie in the U. S. Army. Also su rvi ving are two brothers; John Hoschar of Leon, and Thomas Hoschar of Poi nt P leasant, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Rhodes of Arbuckle,WV.

    IN MEMORIAL

    Phillip Edward Hoschar was Born at Cottageville, WV Jackson Co. Augu st 2 2, 1875 and departed this life March 4, 1947 age 71 years six mont hs and 10 days. He died at home.
    He was the son of Andrew J. and Elizabeth Jane (Brannon) Hoschar.
    He was united in marriage to Frances P. Fultz December 19, 1903. To this u nion were born 12 children.
    He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and the following children.
    Milton of Fostoria, OH, Vinton and Roy of Cottageville; Delbert of Evan s; Johnnie of Point Pleasant; Mrs. Elizabeth Stover of Racine OH, Mrs Alt ie Full of Parkersburg; Earlie of the U. S. Army; 20 grandchildren, two b rothers and one sister. His father and mother two brothers two sisters, f our children and five grandchildren proceeded him in death.

    Dearest Daddy we will miss you. Now that you are sound asleep.
    In the 1900 Jackson Co. Census List Elizabeth Hoschar head of household a nd Philip E. as 23 and single being born Aug 1876 a farmer and Isa ac D 21 single and being born Dec 1878 Farm laborer also list a Hommer Jac obs as a boarder and being 13 being born Mar 1887 as being a farm labor. S hows she was a widow.


    My grandfather was a fox hunter. He worked on the railroad and on the ro ad to Charleston WV. I don't think he was much for working on the farm. I remember my dad saying he would set on the porch and watch him and Milton work in the fields when the were very small like 10 or 12. They would plow when it took them both, one to hold the plow up the other to drive the horse.

    HOSCHAR SERVICES IS HELD AT EVANS

    Mrs. Frances Hoschar, 82 died Monday at the home of a son, Vinton E. Hosch ar, of Cottageville Route after a long illness.

    She was born Nov. 12, 1886 at Nelsonville, OH a daughter of Charles Elswor th and Barbara June Rhodes Fultz. She was married on Dec. 18, 1903 to Phi llip E. Hoschar. She was a member of the Long Botton Methodist Church.
    Funeral services will be held today (Wednesday) at the Casto Funeral Ho me at Evans, at 2: P.M. and burial will be in the Creston Cemetery.

    She is survived by six sons. Melton of Fostoria, OH, Vinton, Roy and Earl ie of Cottageville, WV Johnnie of South Side, OH, Delbert of Barberto n, OH; two daughters Altie Full of Parkersburg, WV and Elizabeth St ov er of Racine, OH; one sister Mrs. Cleveland (Elizabeth) Sayre of Cottag eville; 33 grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren. She was al so preceded in death by an infant son, three daughters Marlie Jane, Laur a, and Atha, and two brothers. (This may be error in obituary or one di ed at birth never heard she had two brothers.)

    Frances father work in a coal mine in Ohio. (some question as to kill ed in an accident. Some say he took pneumonia and died (I believe the co al mine was near Nelsonville, OH.) He is buried there. Frances was abo ut 4 when he was killed.
    Barbara June Rhodes Fultz (Frances mother came to West Virginia to make h er home with her mother-in-law Maria Fultz and later with her brother. Ma ria was not married Charles Elsworth father was killed in the Civic W ar be fore they could be married last name Coffman.

    Mrs. Moriah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Sayre 83 of Cottageville, WV died Tuesd ay at her home following a long illness.
    Mrs. Sayre was born September 27, 1890 at Cottageville, in Jackson Co. ,W V.
    Surviving ; husband Grover Cleveland Sayre, Cottageville; Son Charlie Fu ltz, Cottageville; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be held Thursday at 2:00 P.M. at Casto Funeral Home, Ev an s, with the Rev. Gerald Sayre officiating, with burial in the Cherry Gr ove Cemetery.
    Friends may call at the funeral home after 11 A.M. Wednesday.

    (I am not sure she was born at Cottageville as her father work in Oh io in a coal mine when she was born. I have been told by my grandmother th ey lived in Ohio and come to WV after her father died to live with an unc le (Rhoads, her mother brother) and her Grandmother Fultz.
