- Wilma Imogene Stewart, 77, of Evans, WV, departed this life January 13, 2006 at her home following a sudden illness.
She was born February 13, 1928 in Evans, a daughter of the late Jesse O. and Elzona B. (Sayre) Donohew. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard T. Stewart.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Longview Community Church, and was a former co-owner of Stewarts Cabinet Shop, in Evans.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Mike DeVault of Ripley; brother, Chester O. Donohew of Evans; sister, Wanda Matheny of Evans.
Service was at 1 p.m. Sunday, January 15, 2006 at Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV, with the Rev. Gerald B. Sayre officiating. Burial followed in the Longview Cemetery, Evans. Visitation was from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday, January 14, at the funeral home.

- When I was in high school one of our assignments was to watch the news at least once a week on television. We did not have a television. Wilma graciously allowed me to come to her house and watch the news.
- Wilma loved to sing.
