- His obit was in the Mountaineer newspaper March 13, 1914. He died at 5 o 'c lock Saturday at home. He had 9 children all whom attended the funeral except son who resides in the West. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary Casto, Mrs. J. A. Hoschar and Mrs. Joseph Wheeler. Burial will be in the family cemetery at 11 o'clock Monday.

Thomas Jefferson "Dick" FLOWERS, age 66, died at 5 o'clock Saturday morning at his home near Angerona, following a second stroke of paralysis an hour earlier. Mr. FLOWERS had not enjoyed good health for two years. He had just returned to his bed after sitting by the fire for about an hour, when the summons came. He died while his wife was gone to a neighbor's home to call for assistance, the couple lived alone.
Deceased is survived by nine children, all of whom attended the funeral, except one who resides in the West. Besides the children, he is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Mary CASTO, Mrs. J. A. HOSCHAR, and Mrs. Joseph WHEELER. The remains were interred in the family cemetery at 11 o'clock Monday. (Mountaineer, 13 March 1914
