- The Wood County courthouse records give cause of death as suicide.
He was shot in the right hand and right temple. Hard for some one who is right handed to do this. My father and Bennie's nephew was at the funeral and saw the bullet holes. The record I saw gave suicide.

- Charles was born in Char Leroi, PA, so Nellie and him must have lived in PA for a time Ben worked on the Rail Road. They also owned a home in Parkersburg at one time , so I have been told. They were living in Parkersburg when he was shot.
July 14 1911 news Mrs. Ben Fultz and little Iva of Parkersburg are visiting her parents A. A. Shinn.
This was in the local newspaper Mt. Alto July 17, 1911.
Mrs. Ben Fultz of Parkersburg returned home Saturday.
On March 21 1913 a deed by Benny and Nellie was made to A. Shinn. book 81 or 87 (was written over) page 203.
Mt. Alto News Jan. 22, 1912 Ben Fultz and family has moved in with his mother.

Nellie remarried and had other children. From what I found out her parents raised the children of her and Benny.
She never had anything to do with Grandmother. One of the girls did stay with Aunt Elizabeth (Lizzy) Fultz Sayre for about a year when she was older .
Benny is buried close to the church so may be buried with John and his family.
