Ruth M. Hartley, 99, of Morgantown Health Care Center, died Friday, M ar ch 6, 1987, at West Virginia University Hospital.
Born April 1, 1887, near Chambersburg, Pa, a daughter of the late Am os a nd Susan Embach Miller, she was the oldest living member of the Drumm on Ch apel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Charles H. Hartley Jr. of Packwood, Was h. a nd Robert L. Hartley of Morgantown; four grand-children and seven gre at-gr andchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Henry Hartley in 1 96 1, and by her daughter, Marjorie Louise Hartley in 1939.
Friends may call at Hastings Funeral Home from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m., to da y( Wednesday). Services will be held at the funeral home 10 a.m. Thurs da y, March 12, with the Rev. Daniel B. Johnson and the Rev. Joseph C. G lu ck officiating. Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Garden s.
