The Census of Mason Co., WV 1850 list him 72 Born Pennsylvania, Susan na 45 born VA. Alexander B. 21 Alpheus G. 18.
In the 1850 census he lived in the Hemlock area of Jackson Co., WV
There is a will on record in Mason Co., Pt. Pleasent, WV. The will is dat ed Aug.18,1860. Book 1-A Page 188 has his middle initial as A.
Naming these children as heirs.
Fredric S. T. , John Peter, Andrew Kranier , Alphias G., Alexander Bl ai r, Katharine. The will was probated May 12, 1865. I have a copy.
The will shows Fredrick S.T. being the oldest child. I can find no reco rd why there are so many years between the children, but I don't think Su sanna could be Friedrick mother with census it just don't work age wise. T here is also several years between Susanna and Andrew.
In the 1870 census gives her (Susanna) as being 70 living with John a nd Zelpha. She would have been born about 1800.
There is a deed made August 30,1836 showing he purchased land from John Pe ck book 9 page 516, also purchased land from John McDermott Nov. 10,1836.
The Census of Mason Co., WV 1850 list him 72 Born Pennsylvania, Susan na 45 born VA. Alexander B. 21 Alpheus G. 18.
I have a copy of the Original census on Mason Co., Va record taken on A ug 10, 1850 it gave Susanna as 45 or 65 can't make it out. If 65 she wou ld have been born 1785 if 45 in 1805. That would make her only 15 when fir st child was born. So she was most likely born in 1785.
