- Carolyn Evans (Brunty) Campbell, 75, of Leon, WV, passed away April 18, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV, following an extended illness.
She was born September 23, 1943 in Rainelle, WV, a daughter of the late Clarence and Callie (Evans) Brunty.
She was a former waitress with over 20 years of service at the M & R Restaurant, Ripley, WV. She also worked at Gino?s of Ripley for several years. She enjoyed cooking and music.
Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Dorsey D. Campbell; daughters, Melissa (Chuck) Lowry of Evans and Michelle (Ray) Hendershot of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Luke and Levi Lowry, Desiree? Mayes, Alisha (Zac) Hartley, Addyson and Mahaleigh Hartley; brothers, Robert, Jimmy and Denver Brunty; sisters, Linda Tincher and Brenda Kuykendall.
Service will be 1 p.m. ~ Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in the Casto Funeral Home, Evans, WV with Pastor Benjamin Riggleman officiating. Burial will follow in the Creston Cemetery, Evans, WV. Visitation will be Monday, April 22, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
