- Helen Rosie Dolin 84 of Cross Lanes WV went to be with the Lord on Jan. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School and a member of New Horizon Worship center in Cross Lanes.
Helen was preceded in death by her mother and father, Basil Fredrick and Velma Casto Hill and her brother Basil Fredrick Hill Jr.
Helen leaves behind her devoted husband of 65 years, Paul Arden Dolin Sr; their two children, Elizabeth Ann Deushane of Cross Lanes WV and Paul Arden and Tracy Dolin Jr of Beaufort SC; one grandchild, Paul Douglas Parsons Jr of Cross Lanes; two sisters, Violet May Thompson of Leon WV and Janet Sue and Frank Strohl of Clarksville TN, many nieces and nephews, and a host of beloved friends.
Helen was a Master Gardner who loved to tend her flower gardens and pond. She raised vegetables to can for herself and loved ones. Helen loved giving her time to local organizations such as the YWCA, Restore, and other local charities. She used her craft skills to make Christmas wreaths and flower arrangements for family and friends.
Helen touched many lives throughout her life and will be missed by all who knew her.
Celebration of Helen's life will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Tyler Mountain Memory Gardens West VIrginia Mausoleum, Cross Lanes.
Gathering of family and friends will be from noon until time of service at the mausoleum.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to YWCA
