  	Julius COSSIN was born October 12, 1852, died June 19, 1911, aged 58 years, 8 months and 20 days. He was the son of Allen and Mariah (KING) COSSIN. Was married to Mary NEWELL, December 25, 1894, and is survived by his wife, step-daughter, five sons, four brothers and a large number of relatives and friends. He was a devoted husband and father and will be greatly missed in home and neighborhood where he has always lived. Julius was always a kind man having a smile and a pleasant word for all. He had been a patient sufferer for three years, when the death angel relieved him Monday morning from his suffering. He said he was willing and ready to go. He was laid to rest in the family burying ground, there to await the resurrection morning when "many shall be called but few will be chosen". There he wll meet his loved ones he has left here. May they all live so they will meet "over in the Glory Land" and the family will all be united and live in peace forever. (Mountaineer, 23 June 1911)
